On the morning of November 12, the press conference for the 2025 Global 3v3 Football World Cup International Group Competition was held at No. 286, Ningxia Road, Shinan District. The international group matches will be grandly held from November 15 to 16 in the core area of Qingdao's Old Town, at Haishi Shanmeng Square ("Oath of Eternal Love" Square).
Athletes from 16 top-tier teams will gather in Shinan to fiercely compete for the overall championship. This event serves as the grand finale of the 2025 Global 3v3 Football World Cup. Since its launch in September this year, the tournament has successfully held series for the domestic Campus Group, Adult Group, and Women's Group, featuring a total of 644 exciting matches. It has attracted over 200 teams and more than 2,000 athletes, serving as a thorough warm-up for this international final and effectively promoting and popularizing the sport of 3v3 football locally.

According to a representative from the Shinan District Historic Area Construction and Operation Center, embedding a top-tier international event into the Old Town—characterized by its "red tiles and green trees," European charm, and rich historical atmosphere—aims to achieve a perfect fusion of competitive sports and urban landscape. This turns the event itself into a perceivable and participatory city scene, thereby further activating the cultural resources of the old city and injecting new impetus into its renewal and development.
Qingdao Haiming Urban Development Co., Ltd. introduced that this year's event is full of highlights. Besides offering diverse participation channels covering different ages and skill levels, the biggest innovation lies in providing an immersive viewing experience. The fields are set up at city landmarks like Haishi Shanmeng Square and Music Square, allowing players and spectators to experience the passion of football while also appreciating the unique charm of Qingdao, "the Isle City," truly making "watching the game an act of participation."
